1. Introduction
Welcome to Roatan Visitor LLC. By booking a tour with us via our website (http://www.roatanvisitor.com), by phone, or through our social media pages, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please review them carefully to ensure a fulfilling experience.
2. Definitions
- Visitor: Any individual who books and participates in a tour organized by Roatan Visitor LLC.
- Booking: The act of reserving a tour, completed through our website, phone, or social media.
- Tour: A guided experience provided by Roatan Visitor LLC in Roatán, Honduras.
- Cancellation: The process of terminating a booking by a visitor or Roatan Visitor LLC.
3. Booking Policy
- Visitors must be at least 18 years old to place a booking, and at least 21 years old to travel solo.
- Bookings can be made through our website, designated phone lines, or any of our social media business pages.
4. Payments
- A 20% fully-refundable booking deposit is required to secure your tour. This deposit is payable via PayPal only on our website.
- The remaining balance must be paid in cash at the pickup point before we start the tour.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Cancellations must be made 24 hours before the tour scheduled start for a full refund of the booking deposit.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the tour start are not eligible for a refund.
- Tours canceled by Roatan Visitor due to weather conditions allow for rescheduling; otherwise, a full refund will be provided for cancellations due to other unforeseen circumstances within our control.
6. Tour Operations
- Visitors will receive instructions in English or Spanish from our assigned tour guides and drivers and must follow all provided instructions.
- Tours are subject to changes due to weather or other unforeseen events. Roatan Visitor reserves the right to make these alterations.
7. Accessibility Information
- Information regarding the accessibility of tours is available upon request. We strive to accommodate all visitors where possible.
8. Health and Safety Guidelines
- Visitors are expected to adhere to health and safety guidelines communicated before or during the tour, which may include measures like wearing masks or maintaining physical distance.
9. Insurance Recommendation
- We recommend that all visitors consider travel insurance that covers cancellations, medical expenses, and personal belongings.
10. Environmental Commitment
- Roatan Visitor is committed to preserving the natural environment of Roatán. We engage in practices that minimize environmental impact and support local conservation efforts.
11. Code of Conduct
- Visitors are expected to respect local customs, preserve natural habitats, and follow guidelines during interactions with wildlife to ensure a respectful and safe environment for all.
12. Limitation of Liability & Activity Waivers
- Visitors must sign a general liability waiver before the start of the tour.
- Certain tours may involve activities with inherent risks. For these, visitors will be required to sign additional activity-specific waivers acknowledging the risks and releasing Roatan Visitor LLC from liability except in cases of negligence.
13. Force Majeure
- Neither party shall be liable for delays or non-performance caused by unforeseen events beyond their control (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics). In such cases, we will work with visitors to reschedule or refund tours as feasible.
